2013年评论家电视选择奖（2013 Critics' Choice TV Awards ）的提名名单于早前宣布。笑傲提名的不仅是有线台和无线台的众多优质剧集，也包括了Netflix旗下广受欢迎的自制剧《纸牌屋》（House of Cards）。
广播电视网中，HBO台以21项提名独领风骚。FX台以19项提名紧跟其后。CBS台获得11项提名，ABC稍逊风骚获10项提名。FOX和NBC以9项提名打平。就剧集本身来看，《美国恐怖故事》（American Horror Story）和《生活大爆炸》（The Big Bang Theory）均获得了6项提名，领跑榜单。
颁发评论家电视选择奖的广播电视记者协会也肯定了《公园娱乐》（Parks and Recreation）、《绝命毒师》（Breaking Bad）、《权力的游戏》（Game of Thrones）、《傲骨贤妻》（The Good Wife）、《政坛野兽》（Political Animals）、《衰姐们》（Girls），均授予三项提名。
但是榜单上也不乏冷门：备受评论家喜爱的《摩登家庭》（Modern Family）和《广告狂人》（Mad Men）没有获得喜剧类最佳电视剧、剧情类最佳电视剧的提名，只各自收获了一项表演的提名。
